Review: Transcription by Ben Lerner

Transcription, a short novel, introduced me to Ben Lerner. The writing is phenomenal, particularly the middle section discussing the daughter’s eating struggles. The book cycles around two instances of assisted suicide in Switzerland, and how technology alters everyday communication. Not for everyone, very literary, but the writing certainly works for me.
